Whirlpool SA ACE XL. New, LARGE capacity twin-tub washer with heater.

In the old days, "Semi-automatic washer" meant you connected both hot and cold to a "Y" connection and connected the machine to a faucet for water. Many a city-slicker apartment dweller used this set-up. Therefore the water temperature for the wash was selected at the faucet. You then had to adjust the water temperature for the spray-rinse and the deep-rinse once wash agitation began.

Mareting of THIS manual twin-tub calls it "Semi-automatic".... wishful thinking! you have to cut off the water and watch the fill level yourself!

A fun machine. Good washing and rinsing results AND suds saving / water saving possible!

It's a flow-through "tankless"-type of heating system.  Demo video says to run the tap at 2.5 to 4 LPM or slow enough such that the incoming water flow is only from the designated "heater" spout with none from an overflow shower (which will be cold).  A high-level fill is expected to take 30 to 45 mins, low fill 10 to 15 mins.
