poster behind woman shows '69' - so is this from 1969 then? Cool washer with the window and the one next to it, with a butcher block top.

Maybe, but then again maybe not.

Appears to be a "$" sign in front of the "69" which would indicate a price of something, not year.

Hi Launderess - well, if so, it's very obscure. The mark, when I blow it up, is a single quote to replace the number 19 that usually precedes a 20th century understood year.

so '69 is what I am getting... but if you see a dollar sign...not going to say otherwise. Hmm...anyways, when would this ad be printed, anyone?

Just blew up the picture as well and it does look like an apostrophe before the number six.

Actually, I found that picture using Google Image, and I typed in appliance store 1969, and it appeared. I was typing different years, one by one to see what comes up.
So I think it is from 1969.
