Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

I'm pretty sure that washer is a Westinghouse, however that agitator with the angel wings suggests it could be a Norge product.

Have a good one,

Westinghouse

That washer is a Westinghouse for sure. It might be rebadged as a store brand but it's a Westy. That agitator, I believe, was like their later, top-of-the-line, kind of agitators in which the larger-vaned section lifts off leaving only the bottom vanes for gentle items. I'm also guessing it's a later model because of the absense of a linter filter. They must have gone to some "self-cleaning" kind at this point unless the agitator has one built in to it. Anyone know anything about this?

I know that in some models there was a manual clean lint filter in the tiered cone section between the top vanes and the skirt. You'd have to unscrew the cap and lift the top part off to get to the filter. Looking at the pic and the missing slots in the cones to let the water circulate thru, I'd bet there is no filter under there.
