Whirltag Or Maypool?

With the new center dial washer being produced by Whirlpool with the Maytag label on, do we call it a "Whirltag" or a
"Maypool"?

and sadly a relief to ole' lonely. They may be better than the crap that they were turing out from before. I saw a Real and Up close Whirlpool at Costco yesterday,exactly like the Whirltag inside, down to to agitator and bleach dispenser.Sad but true. I guess that when my Mom buys her Bosch, i better collect the old Maytag set from the clutches of my little brother who wants them.
PS----this is not my Mother's Maytag, the old 407 or the 412.
PPS--Does anyone know where they are building the new machines? Are they coming from South of the Happiest place in the world, Tijajuana?

Wish we were all wealthy enough to buy back Maytag. We could concentrate on building just a small range of high quality, well-made machines. No dishwashers or Amannananatags or any of the other nonsense. Just washers and dryers. Wouldn't that be fun?
The best of each era, with the dial back in the center where it belongs and pushbuttons on each side.

I was at Homo Depot yesterday and saw a center dial Whirltag (or Maypool). It was strange to see the Maytag label on the control panel but as soon as you opened the lid, you knew it was a Whirlpool.

This is funny -

i too was at the homodepot yesterday and saw the new whirltag with the center dial - they all must have reccently got the new shipment. I kinda like that they put the dial back in the middle! its the only difference between them and the whirlpools - i like the overall design actually. its nice and better than maytag has made in years - the crappy Amana my aunt had was 3 years old and they said to junk it! At least Whirlpool has a better reputation and the name is being preserved with some sort of quality behind it...

I was at Christie's Appliance store here in Tucson today.
I also saw a center dial WHIRLPOOL, just like the whirltag.
Tub and agitator the same, everything the same except the name label on the control panel.
