Bob - totally agree. Funny that Wards carried that 'featuer' over on their re-branded Norge washers as well. They must have picked it up from Westy!

Wash Temp/Timer Issue.......

Years ago and maybe even these days the very, very low end Kenmore TLs had a single water level (full) and the water temps were set depending on the amount of time you set it to wash. Hot was the longest and warm was the shortest and all rinses were cold. When my wife and I married 15 years ago she had one of the very, very low end Kenmore sets and it was like I described above - one water level and water temp set by amount of time that you set to wash. Her son still has that washer and it's now about 20 years old and still going strong and I think the dryer finally gave up the ghost about 5 years ago.
