who has one?? agi nut needed

hey all.. am in the middle of fixin tims 1-18 down to the last bit and the indside of the agi nut is stripped need a new one.. anyone out there have one? be very happy to buy it from you. the machine came to life 8 years ago and came back for little minor surgery but am at a stand still till I can find a nut.. thanks so much

If you can't locate a spare its quite possible your nut is repairable. Most any machine shop could install a stainless Heli-coil or Timesert insert to restore the threads. The repair would be better then the original.

If you have trouble locating a local shop I'd install an insert for the cost of postage.

Chris, good deal, glad you got it working again! Heli-Coils are pretty spiffy, we install a lot of them in brand new parts. Properly installed your inserted part will be more durable then it was originally.

As with all threads be sure to use some form of lubricant on it. Especially if you have stainless on stainless which can cause trouble.
