Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

That's Kevin.

I absolutely love his videos and his collection, but more than that I love his English. I mean, his pronunciation is so correct and polite that it sounds like music to my ears. Actually, his voice has a je ne sais quoi that reminds me a teacher. IDK what he does for a living but it wouldn't surprise me if he's actually a teacher or professor because of the way he communicates always so clear.

There's a recipe that I learned with one of his videos and instantly made me fall in love with it. The mushroom dip. I adapted it to be used as pasta/steak/whatever sauce and it quickly became a staple in my house because I love mushrooms and that recipe is super easy and delicious.

He's here too, but I don't remember his screen name here.

Thanks everyone!

Laundress and all -

Thanks for all the comments and it warms my heart to know you have enjoyed some of the recipes from Cavalcade of Food over the years. I used to post links to the videos here, but after the channel became monetized I stopped doing that because it didn't seem proper to use our forum for that purpose.

You can link to all the Cavalcade of Food episodes (we're up to 382), Always Analog episodes, and the Cavalcade Radio Hour (a local radio show I do on Saturday mornings) at the website https://cavalcadeoffood.com/

The Cavalcade building in Croswell, Michigan serves as a studio where I produce the YouTube videos and the radio program, as well as a place to keep my collection. The building isn't open to the public and there are no operating hours. I'm planning on retiring in a few years (yes, I am an administrator and teacher) and then I may have open hours at that time.

Thank you all for your interest and watching the videos over the years! I deeply appreciate your enthusiasm and support!!

Gratefully,
Kevin

Kevin!

YT is such a mystery these days since they've changed format and other bits.

Cannot say how your video appeared under "suggested" list as one was watching something to do with vintage steam locomotives! *LOL*

But once glanced at all those vintage appliances clicked on to see what there was, and was that glad one did. Sat sitting for awhile watching many of your videos and enjoyed them all. No mystery why you have so many subscribers and loyal YT fans.

Was that impressed how you and a helper managed to move those huge vintage ranges as if they were sacks of feathers.

Keep up all the good work!

Best wishes,

L.

Here's a better view. Note: the inner door panel is outside the first fridge photo. I removed it to replace the door gasket. I got a new door gasket, which is resting on one of the shelves inside the fridge, but haven't got round to installing it yet. One of these days... LOL...

As I mentioned in an earlier post... it's a 1948 model...
