Anyone know who make Gibson washing machine (it looks like Whirlpool to me) & how is their quality?

Nope,they fooled ya!
If you look closely at the front of the machine,you'll see that there is a removeable front service panel to get access to the pump,motor and trans.The Whirlpool(accept for their stacked models) does not have that.The Gibsons are made by Electrolux (Frigidaire).

Its been cleaning for 10 years now ever since John L installed it at the Cape!
Great rinser too, John swapped out the puny drain pump and installed a giant suckulator from the GE version. It drains in a snap even at the end of wash!
