Ventless Dryers!

I remember Frigidaire Maytag Hotpoint made ventless dryers. Anyone have brochures on these dryers to post? I am interested and was Frigidaire the last to make them?
Thanks
Peter

Ventless Dryers

Am not totally sure, but back when one was in school our "home ec" classroom had a water condenser dryer, and one *thinks* it was made by Whirlpool.

Know it was ventless because one day assisted one of the home economics teachers do some washing (used/unclaimed gym uniforms), and watched in amazement as she had to turn on a water tap before starting the dryer. Teacher did complain about having to use said dryer during a recent water shortage.

Thing was the same as any other dryer one had seen before, just didn't understand at the time why it needed water. Until such time every dryer one had ever seen was the vented through the wall types like the Whirlpool we had at home.

Condenser Dryers!

I could be wrong but I dont think whirlpool made a condenser dryer. I thought it was just maytag hotpoint frigidaire that made them. Also I dont think you needed to hookup to cold water like a washer dryer combo. Anyone with more knowlwdge want to comment or download more info?
Thanks
Peter

I do know that the Maytag condenser that my Aunt had, had to be hooked up to the cold water.
