Does the Sun company make ALL for the Canadian market?  Maybe neither Sun nor Phoenix Brands want to bother with exporting to Canada anymore...

That's a very interesting commercial

I didn't recognize the guy as Judd Hirsch!

The thing that kept cathing my eye is the way they fling-around that obviously empty detergent box. I'll explain:

My Mother used this detergent almost exclusively for many years. I don't know how she started with it, but All is mentioned in all the early 1960s Kenmore washer owner's manuals that I have as a recommended detergent for low-suds applications. My parents have always had a water softener, so 1960s/1970s Tide and the like were very touchy for us to use without over-sudsing and having suds lock problems.

The All I remember was always VERY heavy as compared to other products. It had all these colored granules in it (red, yellow and blue I think) mixed with the white powder. The boxes used to make a THUD when we put them on the shelf as compared to Bold or Gain would when I could convince her to buy something different. That box would have not been able to be tossed around like that had it been full!

I am pretty sure we only stopped using All as our primary brand when Fresh Start became popular in the very early 1980s.
