I still have my kds-58 and kdp-58 at home too. But i have commercial racks i made that will fit this one and the wash arm support isn't slopped out on this 57 so it washes!

I cleaned enough hair off the filter to build a cat, now it doesn't seem so sluggish. I did break one of the tabs off the plastic part of the debris filter, so I'm sad about that. I was even thinking i better not touch that it's probably brit..... Snap.

I would love... To make a digital interrupt for the timer on this. Use voltage monitoring on each of the components on the unit, have it disconnect power to the timers to hold it for longer cycles to work better with modern detergent and heavier loads etc. I can't believe how fast this thing flys through a full cycle.

I don't know that the drying blower and heater work, i have two more spare assemblies though. But I'm wondering if it isn't an issue with the energy saver button. I have it hooked up to a kill-a-watt and it draws 2 watts during the drying cycle.

I know the 17s aren’t as user friendly as the 18s and up but I think it would be such a fun machine to have! All that power from the Hydrosweep to clean both racks! Anyways I hope it’s a joy to use! Let’s see some pictures of it in use!
