Sorry to keep harping on this, but I am having a hell of a time finding a donor machine for my base plate for the 1960 Kenmore washer I have. Everyone around here gets rid of them before I can get one. They say they will save a machine, but they don't! If it is reasonable, I will pay for one and have it shipped. Let me know. Thanks to all!

Ok we all know you are looking for a Whirlpool baseplate as this is about your fourth new thread/post about this in so many days, actually I am also looking for a baseplate for my '57 Lady Kenmore, but I'm not posting a message about it every day, I just need to get off my butt and go find a WP/Kenmore junker. Just find any standard capacity belt drive Kenmore in the trash in and around Tacoma, take it apart and you'll have your baseplate. Those machines are still relatively common so this shouldn't be that big of a challenge for you.

They're still out there, I just picked up an early 70's Kenmore BD machine, and turned down a couple of similar vintage BD Whirlpools.
