I just came up with a load from h*** for our Kenmore Ultra wash- nothing was rinsed or scraped. The skillet was used to fry bacon yesterday (I emptied the excess grease), the clear pyrex 9x13 was used for barbecued chicken tonight (no chicken left, just sauce- maybe 1/2 cup), the orange pyrex bowl had mashed potatoes (maybe a cup left) and the black saucepan was used to boil the potatoes. Nothing else should be a challenge, the stainless saucepan had green beans, maybe 2 or 3 left, plates and silverware sat in the sink for a couple hours so basically got rinsed from hand washing, etc. I used a finish powerball tab and some lemishine in the main wash cup and the prewash was filled with institutional cascade. Pots and pans cycle, water heat on, heated dry on. Just started it so will probably check the results in the morning.

Ours is NOT being replaced, it works so well and everything comes out spotless! We went 12 years with a BOL GE that couldnt clean dishes that were already clean. That one gladly stayed at the old house.

Well, everything came out spotless, I did stop the heated dry about 5 minutes in, I had the same result as the last time I tried the heated dry. There was smelly smoke pouring out of the vent and it wouldnt go away, just got worse. Obviously I checked to make sure nothing had fallen on the element, and nothing had. It works fine to heat the water, but smokes and smells when I use the heated dry.
