Just saw an episode of Southpark that featured a singer named "Wing"... who happens to be a real person... and she has an international following...

Unbelievable!!!

I like how her website mentions that she often performs in hospitals and nursing homes -- you know, places where the audience is incapable of running away!

Few performers can do equal justice to "Highway to Hell" and "Close to You," but Wing transcends all musical boundaries.

Wing's AC/DC covers are barely recognizable, at least in the samples from her website.

Unfortunately I missed her USA concert at Cafe du Nord in San Francisco last August - I had no idea at the time of her existence.

She is sort of the New Zealand answer to William Hung.

Yes, she's very amusing in the line of Florence Foster Jenkins, Mrs. Miller etc. -- all really, really bad singers who thought they were great ... "legends in their own minds."
