Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

Hope you get the job, MOST places now days will not fill a postion until it is empty. Are you replacing someone? That could be the wait. Best of luck, alr2903

Nice to met you!

Sending a nice but to the point thank you note after the interview is a nice way to follow up, although the third day is usually the target. I see nothing wrong with inquiring of the personnel director if the job is open. If it is not it never hurts to ask for pointer on future interviews that may bolster your chance at landing a position you want. Eager is good, stalking is bad.
I really want this to work for you. Best of intentions for full job placement.

It depends on the business

Where I work, the wheels turn slow. Sometimes takes three months or more. I have had candidates turn down the job when we call to offer it to them as they had accepted sometheing else because they thought they hadn't been chosen.

Follow up, and do so on a regular basis until they say "I'm sorry that position is filled." You still have a chance.

definitely call

Call, call, call! A thank-you note for the interview with your positive impressions of the workplace will always be welcome. Even if they've filled this position, believe me, these facilities are ALWAYS looking for competent help. A follow-up will keep you top of mind.

I called today, but the woman that interviewed me had already gone home she works from 6 am to 2 pm. I'm going to call first thing in the morning.

I pray every night before I go to bed that I will get the job.

Its cookie time!!!!

Cookies, a fruit basket or cupcakes enough for the staff, delivered to the break room. Health care workers take so much criticism and are the recipient of anger and fear from residents and families. The smallest remembrance makes you a hero. Just drop off the goodies with a note "Enjoy" signed with your name aught to do it.
