Any wonder why Tony and I couldn't wait to move away from Alexandria, VA? It's absolutely ridiculous over there. I have a hard time describing this scenario to people who are so "PC" but the D.C. area to include parts of VA and MD is an absolute cultural wasteland. It's like taking the worst people from various countries from all over (and quite a bit of them middle-East) and dropping them right there in one place. It's an absolute dump and is incredibly dangerous now.

The roughly 5 1/2 years I lived in VA I was in Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria. Basically Fairfax was full of people who either had money, thought they had money, or were just way over their heads in debt...all had a major chip on their shoulders (all races included here). Arlington was mostly Sect. 8 housing for the longest time and was disproportionately populated with non-English speaking hispanic people. It was a totally different world of its own. Alexandria is a large city and is very sectioned off. Near old town is a mostly low-income sect 8 as well...huge crime issues there. The area I lived in was mostly middle-eastern low income. In the 3 years I lived in my condo there the neighborhood deteriorated drastically. Vandalizm and assault was skyrocketing. Stabbings on our street corner were almost weekly by the time we moved away. Police would slap a notice up on the wall of the building telling us to look for the suspect. Every time it was the same description...tall black male ages 17-30 wearing dark clothing. A needle in a haystack basically.

I don't care what DC or VA police say about the crime rate. They can throw out a bar graph and say it's the same or less all they want. It's just not true. That place is a s***hole now and I'm so glad I'm not there anymore.

It does me, too. Which is why I posted it. If ever the politicians give a fcuk about our opinion, it is in these last weeks before the election. Call your congressional representative. Call your senators. Make it very clear that this behavior is unacceptable and you want something done about it. If they are democrats, emphasize the attorney general pooh-poohing it. If they are republicans, push the illegal immigrants, and if they attack gays, what's to say their next victims won't be single, un-escorted women.
Assure them that you vote and make it kind of leak through that you, just maybe, might be leaning their way and this is a deal maker or breaker.
It took several young women being murdered by their own families over here in Central Europe before our justice systems woke up and told the politically correct idiots that cultural diversity ended where a woman's right to chose her own mate, sexuality and lifestyle began.
