My dad's uncle & aunt had a BOL model with the same timer style, agitator filter, and a water saver button. Her brother worked at the Western Auto in their town. The top/lid was not porcelain and badly rusted. I never saw the machine running.
My maternal grandmother had a MOL Wizard until around 1977. It had a solid tub and i had the exciting job of getting to push the water saver button to start agitation. It was much more fun and exciting than the BOL Sears Kenmore washer she got after that which turned out you couldn't even choose a water level...every load was a full load.
It has a sanitizer lamp the likes of which Robert has on some of his machines.
They prevent polio and he says he's never had polio so it's just got to be good.
