A HUGE thank you goes out to Robert for this. I had been hoping to find a TR-60 to match the WO-65 for quite sometime, so when Robert's offer came up last Thursday, I couldn't pass on it.

I joined Robert and Jed Saturday night for some washer repair hi-jinx and overall sudsy fun. The WO-65 came along for some quick repairs, but was happily greeted by the Filtramatic in the garage!

Again, thank you Robert. You are a great friend and a wonderful mentor,

Ben

Ben all I can say is WOW!!!! What a beautiful set that is. Those were appliances that a person was truly proud of when they bought them. A different era that is for sure. Congratulations!!!

Could the fabulous Apex have been located??

Robert, didn't your fortune cookie from last night vaguely mention something of an Apex in your near future? ;-)

Greg - I haven't seen the flick yet, but I hear someone's butt sat on the Filtrator. Now I have an excuse to NetFix Mona Lisa Smile. Who knew that the WO-65 would become a world famous star via You Tube, to then be matched up with a movie prop? It was like it was meant to be - LOL.

The open space

Yes, we had to open up a spot because Robert is going to find an Apex this week ;)

Very nice indeed!

It's so cool that you were able to make a matched set with that dryer! Congratulations and may you have many years of laundry service from them both, Ben!!

Beautiful pair!
I've never seen the older Frigidaire dryers up close. Ben, would you be so kind as to share some more pics of the timer and the control panel and the inside of the drum?
