Wondering about Tide Total Care

<strong id="internal-source-marker_0.5043804589658976" style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Droid Sans'; background-color: transparent; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">I tried this detergent some years ago but it was foamy and did not rinse well like most Tide  He liquid detergents  I tried at that  time.   Seems that Tide has reformulated liquid detergents so they rinse better - at least the free and clear version does, so I am thinking about giving Total Care another try.</span>

<span style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Droid Sans'; background-color: transparent; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">It is advertised as being good for colors because it neutralizes chlorine in your water, yet contains optical brighteners.  Will the use of optical brighteners damage light, bright colors over time?  I have a detergent for darks so would not be using Total Care on them.</span>

Without any type of bleaching action how does Total care perform on whites?</span>

Jerrod-- Tide Total Care was discussed in another thread, recently. Check it out; hopefully it can answer some of your questions.

Tide Total Care HE

Does anyone here prefer the TTC liquid over the other Tide offerings? I am a little leery of using Tide with Bleach offerings with good clothing because of the potential for fabric fading. Do you think TTC cleans as well as TWB? Malcolm

Thanks I will check out the link.  I hope TC has not been discontinued in favor of the  new pods.  I tried the Tide Pods and the stuff stinks like nothing I have every smelled in my life and the clothes were rough.  After two loads I sent the remaining package  of pods to the trash.
