World of Tile Liquidation Sale

If anyone is looking for vintage new old stock tile, this might be the perfect opportunity. World of Tile in Springfield, NJ is liquidating the entire contents of the store. I was there on Sunday and they still had more tile than I've ever seen. I'm guessing there's at least $100K in tile still there. The stuff is dirt cheap too.

The building has been sold and is slated for demolition. I believe the sale is running through next Monday.

They also have marble tile and marble pieces available. I got a piece for our bathroom threshold for $5. Boxes of tile are running from $5-$8. It looked like the newest stuff was from the 80s.

I did; we were the readers that shared the scoop with her which ended up getting her a lot of exposure. 

 

I spoke with the woman running the sale; the whole thing is just depressing.  The Nissan dealership next door bought the property and will be demoing it.  The showroom is incredible; they did lots of tile work to show off their skill.  There are mosaics all over the place.
