I cook either in garage or on front porch when its HOT outside.
well anyway I was reheating some cabbage leftovers for me in the lil prob 8 inch clear glass cookware .... its "Range-tec"
heated it on the old 2 burner portable unit.(
well anyway Hubby heard a pop. He didnt tell me. well anyway. when I went to check on it cause I set my trusty oven timer..) it was a dinging.... Gotta have it. timer that is... LOL
the thing had popped and food was on deck with most of the clear glass. the circle bottom glass part
was still there in "parts"..
sure glad I had only reheated half my leftover cabbage. cause Id really been more upset with NO cabbage..
Plus glad I was NOT NOT a standing over it stirring or etc...
Boo hoo now only have the smaller and larger Visionware.skillets
that clear glass was the PERFECT size too..
bought two pc used at local thrift store.....still have the saucepan left. no lids. use my visionware or pyrex lids for it....
Oh also broke a canning jars when the jar wasnt hot nor the "syrup" hot for blueberries.. when inserted Thought I slowly lowered the jar into the pot of boiling water bath. thank ggodness was just one jar 1/2 pt sized. I did scoop out the floating bleueberies though. CAuse they are MINE MY blueberries I had recently picked in my property. well the other jar 1/2 pt too didn "seal"
