What year is this WP dw? When do they stop making blue interior of appliances?

Are parts interchangeable between this dw and KUDI230B0?

Early 1990s

The serial number will tell you exactly what it's made, there is almost nothing interchangeable but tween this in the KitchenAid you mentioned.

The KitchenAid some more ruggedly built machine but the whirlpool so much better performer and more reliable.

I am sure it is a '90 something as my next door neighbors have the same one. Reliability of any appliance depends on how often it is used and kept up. Several times a day or every couple days will decide if it dies or keeps going. Except for a refrigerator, it dies, you got to get another NOW.
