Robert, so the glass over the detergent was to shield it from the purge spray?

That is what I would assume Tom as the spray is immediately sent down the drain. Otherwise you would want it to mix in with the wash water as easily and quickly as possible.

The westy with the front cutaway, the drum looks huge. i mentioned it to Robert last time this was posted on here last year. The westly look's like it could hol about 20kg of washing lol

Nope, it could only hold about 9 pounds of dry mixed laundry.
