Nice Work Guys!!!

Looks like fun, and much more classy than a Jumble Sale in the village hall...had my first experience of yard sales when Robert & Scott dragged us around Minni at the 2001 convention...couldnt get enough of it, dab hand at it, managed to bag a 1920`s Sweeper Vac but got mown down by Jetcone for the Lux....

That Sony Trinitron IS a classic now, and the rotisserie food looks & smells divine!!!!

the sale looks very nice BUT...

Its the food that catches my eye! That looks great!!

C'mon over with your best gadgets Rich and lets cook some stuff!

Ben, you're so right about a garage or yard sale sans baby clothes LOL. That is so depressing when you park and all they have is baby shite and broken Playskool crap.

Now, what do I see above I want.. I want that Burroughs Comptometer of Rons!!!! I want the Sharp Half Pint, always room for one of them that's why they're half pints. I hope that's not a blender I see on the ground in Rons pic.. if it is I want that too.

I am going to see what the yard sales this morning will bring-could it be another Hoover vacuum? An older Vita-Mix blender?Older tube Hi-fi gear-thats what I am hoping for-and of course no baby items. The busted Playschool baby items-shouldn't those go into the dumpster?

I agree. I HATE yard sales with baby items... I hate children to begin with, and seeing their old, grubby, worn-out accoutraments as the only contents of a yard sale you poked around for half and hour to find is just dissapointing. I saw one last week that was solely baby items and even staffed by a child. I didn't even get out of the car.

But that, that's the sort of thing I make K-turns for!

The yard sales yesterday were disappointing-whats almost as bad as kids items is clothes and stuffed animals-that is what I found yesterday-not a SINGLE appliance!I like kids-but just don't want to deal with their equipment. For the most part I drove by the yard sales I saw-only stopped at one.It was mostly old clothes, nick nacks-please folks put those in the RAG BAG!Nick nack items don't turn me on either.I love yard sales with appliances,hi fi equipment,Vacuum cleaners,books,records-that sort of thing-and reloading equipment-got a nice reloader tool for gun cartridges at a yard sale-It's a RCBS "Rockchucker" press NIB.Swept that right up and used it to reload some ammo. The reloading outfit even had the dies that matched the calibers I wanted to load!
