I see you bought the car from one of Roger Penske Dealerships Motorwerks BMW Mini. I am the project manager for his stores (but the Vendor for his compluter software in dealerships..)that was one of the first stores I did when he bought it from The Walser group..

Congrats! Love the color you chose! I am always happy to hear when someone buys a car with a manual transmission - I think they are much more fun to drive.

I wanted to wait until April so the snow would be gone... this year that hasn't exactly happened, but I couldn't keep waiting... April was the "finish line" date I had set, so to speak.

Its a wonderful blue and I always liked the stripes too. So glad you got a manual trans, such a shame to geld such a fun-to-drive car like that with a automatic slushbox.
In another month or so the snow will be gone and you can enjoy it!
I have a friend with a Mini and he got the coolest vanity plates for it, they say "Alice". Took me a few seconds to get it but its classic!

Since the new Mini was reintroduced a few back, I have wanted one. I have test driven them 4 or 5 times and definately like the "S" better!

A very nice color and the interior is just space age. Now, the important question in reference to the above mentioned gesture. Will you trust Robert to drive it, alone, on a washer pickup? How big of a washer do you think will fit in that Mini anyway?

Congrats on the new car. Unlike most, I absolutely abhor the "new car smell" as it makes me very noxious. It's just a combination of 300 toxins gassing off like crazy at the same time.

I bought my new car in February so rolling the windows down wasn't an option unless I wanted to flood my brand new car with rain water. Even months later, I could still smell that damn stench. Took care of it, for the most part, by inviting my longtime childhood friend and hot boxing the car with our meerschaum pipes and some cherry tobacco.
