I have seen similar models of that toaster before. As I recall they have a thick black industrial strength power cord on them, which adds to the solid, substantial overall look of the toaster.
We received this as a gag wedding gift from someone who is well aware of my aversion to all things Signature. It actually does a decent job, and has a "master" darkness control knob underneath in addition to the sliding one on the side. I've never seen that on a toaster before.

That's the trouble with things made today...nothing's "festooned" anymore ;-)
I've seen 3 of these gazelle glass panel Toastmasters on ebay. One sold for a lot, one sold for very little, and one's been listed now 3 times with no takers at $75. I guess that's a little steep. It would look kinda cool with my African mask/safari interior, but then again it's just a toaster.
Just remember, if the touch panel ever stops working, it can be repaired, unlike today's plastic-membrane touchpads. Cory (cadman) here can probably give you a couple of pointers if you need them.
