Looks like a Whirlpool engineering "platform" as do the later Brastemp models. Was this indeed similar to a Whirlpool?

In 1959 a Brazilian appliance firm is being formed by Whirlpool and Companhia Industrial E. Commercial Brasmotor of Brasil. The new firm, Multibras Industria de Aparelhos Domesticos, will be operated by Brasmotor. The firm will make Whirlpool-designed appliances while Whirlpool will provide technical assistance.

It's funny how "Whirlpool" it looks and at the same time, not. Love it!

Cold fill?

Rodrigo, the panel has a selector for three water temperatures, so I guess the machine can be connected to both hot and cold water taps. I can only see one water valve in the back of the washer. Do you think this is a later date modification?
