Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Wow.. To think, all of the things this video were talking about in 1957, we could do today, it would all just be a matter of cost.

Some of the things they do mention are a little over the top though. (Like the stove that can follow you around and the multiple mobile dishwashers.)

I love the idea of the drop down dispensers/fridges/ovens .. I'm guessing the only reason why it hasn't been done yet is due to cost.

If I was a billionaire, I would force all of the Whirlpool engineers to sit down in a private screening room, watch this movie and I'd say, "Build this for me. Cost is no object." .. and they'd be all, "WTF?!?"

I loved the film. However all I could think about were all the stage hands crouched in the cabinets lowering glassware and pushing drawers out for this film.
PSST HERMAN! She pressed button two. Lower the glassware..... NOW !
I suspect that little of that miracle kitchen actually worked.
A great inspirational film but I'm thinking a lot of smoke and mirrors technically.
If the credits were shown I'm sure the Singer Midgets were among them.

--And think of all the energy that stuff must use!!!!

Yow, what do you do if any of that stuff BREAKS???? What if the 'tricity goes OUT????

I hate the thought of the food tucked in & under those cabinets SPOILING or getting BURNT!!!!

I usually like my steak medium, but you'd better have another minute to make someone else's RARE & probably three minutes for someone else's for WELL DONE!

And imagine having to do the laundry by HAND if the combination washer/dryer breaks down, too...
