Yesterday I went to a nice sale where I scored 19 (yes 19!) church and/or civic organization cookbooks, and also a nice selection of Pillsbury Bake-Off recipe books.  The Bake-Off booklets include years no. 3, 10, 13, 14, 20, 21, 28, 30, 35, 36, 37, 42, and 43.  I have booklet nos. 1 & 2, and also various other booklets from the 60's and 70's that I inherited from my Great-Aunt Ella in 1989.  Someday soon I'm going to have to sit down and put them all in chronological order to know exactly what years I do and don't have.  Also found a nice vintage Christmas light set that I'll scavenge the bulbs from for my Christmas display.  Scored a nice Sunbeam juicer ($9) for the Mixmasters I received from our beloved Kelly (Mixfinder).  Earlier this summer I saw a NIB meat grinder attachment but I didn't have a machine to use with it at the time.  I think the asking price for the grinder was only $5.  Oh well, hopefully I can find another one just as nice someday.  There was also a shelf in the basement that had various household chemicals that were free.  I found a box of Blu-White powdered bluing that was next to full.  I can't wait to use some once again!

P.S. All of the cookbooks and Pillsbury booklets were 3 for $1.00 or 35 cents apiece.

Chemicals

Kill the bugs, make the garden grow and create stunning laundry. Spend a little time on your knees at church tomorrow and you'll be forgiven. I'm glad you're enjoying the mixers.

We went to church this afternoon @ 5pm.  So I'm already forgiven.
