Almost 60 years old, that model is from the late 40's to
It's MOL, the TOL had two handles for the drain operations. If you look at the 3rd pic in L's link you'll see a valve on the drain faucet which would hold the water in the spinner, since that model only has a handle for the wash drain.
The machine is in beautiful shape for its age, the best preserved example I've seen.
The later model refined the drain handles by eliminating them. Aunt Marge's evolved model had
what looked like a miniature light dimer switch--very pretty, and located just under the time. It drained the wash tub. The spinner's main arm took on a double function. 12- o'clock, (the drain is) CLOSED, 2- o'clock, OPEN, 3-o'clock SPIN, all clearly marked. Thus, no more dull metal handles, just slender wash & spin arms. How I loved that washer.
If someone wants this, I could probably pick it up for you and hold it in my garage. And I promise not to play with it till you get here
Not quite sure where Delavan is. Anything after North Collins we call East Jesus or East Jahunguh, but it can't be that far.
