Anyone have any info on the Westinghouse Drycleaner? I found this service manual on Ebay and it looks interesting.
You Can Be Sure that I've never seen one of these...

There was a newer one that it a Laundromat that I took over. I am a dry cleaner but I never used one of Westinghouse machines.
My parents moved in the late 70's and a laundromat in the area had two of that machine. They were in a back corner of the place and they looked like they hadn't been used in some time. I never saw them being used. The other part of the building's main floor was operated by a dry cleaner that was full service. Because of this I doubt the machines in the laundromat ever were used since you could drop off your cleaning and pick it up later.

The Westinghouse laundromat in my area when I was a kid, had a bank of these (maybe 6 or8 ). I saw them being used sometimes (mid 60's). They were later replaced with a row of dryers.
I saw them in an all Westinghouse (except for one Milnor) coin laundry. I even looked in one while it was operating. Just clothes going round and round.
At the (Noisy) Norge Village, they had two coin-op dry cleaning machines. Not Westy, of course, but they were cool to watch.

These were based on the WH combination machines, SQ, Norge, Whirlpool also had self-service dry-cleaning machines passed on their combinations.

My suggestion is
By the manual and then put it up on here, I am very interested in to Seeing what that manual would hold plus cause probably even does the design of it is superseded by least 30 years of technology upgrades

We had a Norge Village and they had at least 11 machines up and running, all turquoise. But like Tom says I stuck my head in and all I saw was dark clothes tumbling in dry water.

Westinghouse Drycleaner
When I was very young my mother used to bring me to this drycleaning and tailoring store that had those very machines.They put on a great show.It is one of my favorite childhood memories. They had four of them,two and two.I remember the mans name he was very nice,Mr Macadino. This was in Winchester Mass where I still live.
