Well...I got a front loader finally. I went with a Whirlpool Duet 4.0 cu. ft. Here's the story: I've been on a crusade to find a decent FL and just yesterday I found a guy right down the road from me with this washer brand new in the box... $325.00. I couldn't pass up the deal...especially since its new. I've used it twice today and I do like it, I just don't like not having a digital screen for time remaining or possible fault codes. I know that its not really the best FL washer, but for the price I think it was a decent choice. Check out the pics...I'm sorry for the crappy 1 megapixel pics off of my camera phone.

A hidden bonus!

The lower front access panel comes off with 3 screws. Hidden behind that is Whirlpool's neat pump. It's neat because there is a prefilter built into the housing that is a easy to remove 'catch tray' that intercepts all sorts of things like coins, bobby pins, paperclips, etc before thry can make it to the impeller and ruin the pump. Good pump design! That model also has the little fan that's designed to periodically move air thru the tub and prevent the wet clothes from getting all smelly if left in too long. I just did factory training on it. Good choice!
