coffee vs. tea

I have no problem with coffee, which I prefer. Tea is okay, but I prefer coffee. Now let's get back to the subject.
Where were we? Yes. I think we all need to find the phone number to his store and flood the lines with caustic messages until they're jammed. Now that would do it justice as we hear him squirm. Who's with me? Better yet, we should let him hear our angry clap backs and comebacks. That would be our rebuttal to him. I think we can do it. That would be the best thing ever and would actually put a smile on my face to hear him squealing like a little kid whining. LOL!

contact

Here's his contact. I just emailed him with so much caustic ranting just to blow off some steam at him directly. Now I feel so much better.[this post was last edited: 3/4/2024-23:21]

Jerome, with the upmost respect, there is no end of bad advice and misinformation on the net, rather than getting your knickers in a twist over it, just ignore it like most people do.

Anyone can start a blog and set up a Youtube channel and call themselves an expert on a subject of their choosing, and those that choose to follow his advice, will rapidly abandon it if their laundry starts coming out manky.

Anyway, I've seen far worse advice on laundry, and then there's alternative detergent products like soap nuts and laundry Ecoeggs sold in some supermarkets, that are supposed to last 70 washes. Ecoeggs have got to be the worst possible system for dispensing a mild detergent into a washing machine.

ignoring him

I am finally ignoring him after unleashing my fury at him. I will not lose sleep over it. It's on them if they want to follow that advice and much much worse. As Forrest Gump said, stupid as is stupid does. It's on them. I think he would just laugh at my angry rants. That's my take.

I feel kinda bad

Saw this thread lingering at the top, so decided to check back in.
With all the commotion..I decided to look further into Laundry Guy.
I watched a couple of videos, one wasn’t about laundry..just a video tour of his store and he was showing some of his merchandise at Xmas time.
My impression of him is that he seems to be a nice person. Not angry or bitter..
His store was nice, and he carries some unique items not related to laundry..kinda a fu fu place that would attract certain buyers.
Right wrong or indifferent, his approach to laundry appears to be more on the eco friendly side.
He’s using soap in certain instances but not Fels Naptha (not earth friendly enough) and when “detergent” is mentioned he notes “plant based” detergent. His soap flakes are made with sustainable cocoanut oil and sunflower seed oil.
I’m not going to beat up on him too much.. I understand the concept when it comes to household cleaning..mind you..I’m not going to use 2 TBLS of detergent or throw out my powdered Tide. But I get what he’s about and it’s the man’s livelihood, and he’s filling a need for some people.

Our Beliefs / changing them is difficult, more so others
