Ah yes, the less than glamorous shots. Part of the sale included builder/contractor coming back, when weather permits, to grade, seed, and landscape the lot. Also HVAC guy will come when warm enough to shoot some R410A into the unit as it was installed over the winter and thus could not be charged.
I took a pic of two things of note. First is the plastic combo vent/exhaust pipe for the furnace. I know it is a common piece of plastic but I am still amazed at how the non union Goodman furnace works like it does. Second is the CFL suitable for wet locations. Lest anyone think I bought up all remaining edison style bulbs, there are situations where I do go eco. Just not with my laundry!
Also there is a pic of 1 of 2 catch basins on my property. These drain into the storm sewer. Contractor is coming to fill around the concrete box with gravel and he'll cut a swale out back to direct road runoff to the catch basins.
As you can see, there is a crap pile of work to be done on the outside. Good news is, water line, sewer line, gas line and electrical are all brand spanking new and up to code. Mower needs to be purchased, money set aside to pave the driveway, and a concrete sidewalk needs poured. Hopefully all this will take place before winter.
I finally have a Liftmaster belt drive garage door opener. Works really well. I am amazed at how quiet it operates.
