Final spin. It actually sounds like the bearings are going here, but it was the belt which was at fault. Once this was changed the spin became much quieter.

yellowing

Hi there, does anyone know how to get rid of the yellowing that can occur on the doors of these machines, I don't mean the outer door frame- I mean the actual plastic outer part on the door, which is removed from my pics...

Hope you know what I mean, thinkmost of Darren's videos have it on still.

I would prefer to have it on, but it's so yellowed I can hardly see anything through it !

This is a picture of the Zanussi AMIE washer for the visually impaired. The white indicator has the two symbols, the dot and dash, when its on the dot, the machine has finished, when its on the Dash it means its on Rinse Hold after a Synthetic cycle.

 

Kinda unique and cool and would have helped the visually impaired a great deal
