If anyone can, please post what model you think it is because i dont know.

You may be referring to the Zanussi nexus machines....

This is the closest match i could find on ebay for you atm x

The above machine is an FL1032. Introduced in 1990, it was one of the first models to be built to the 'Nexus' design.

FL1016

Here we have the FL1032's predecessor the FL1016. Built from 1989 to 1990 this was one of the last models to be built with the old drum and solid tub construction. Spin speed was 1000rpm.

I guess it could be Darren, I had a bit of a mental block there! Did it have a matching dryer though?

No it isnt the FJ1033 because it doesnt have Jetsystem and it just has the standard Zanussi push in and turn dial.I dont know if that model has a matching dryer or not.

HooverKeymatic..

I really don't remember. I was only 3 when we got rid of the washcraft. I remember what it looked like and the sound it made but I can't remember the wash on it. Sorry.

I was gutted when the Jet System died. I really wanted another one for my apartment but I've ordered a new Miele instead as it was being more and more difficult to find one locally.

AquaCycle...

So was the jet the same as it it is now? Also, out of the WashCraft and the Jetsystem, which cleaned better?

Heres a picture of a simlar machine's controls:

I honestly couldn't say. We got rid of the Washcraft in 1993 (I was 3) and replaced it with a useless Electra thing which I remember being awful. The Jet System came in '96 and was the first washing machine I had that I really noticed the results and started taking notice of the features of the machine, build and performance - rather than just watching it go round and round as a kid.

Easy Iron push button on the Zanninghouse

Hi Chris,

does it change the spin pattern (variomatic/pulse spin) ?

Definately the Zannies have ever been the best italian made washers, along with the real Philco-Bendix
