I would recommend the Amana NTW4516 top load washer. You could get it at Best Buy or the Roper from Lowes. Same machine basically. They have the white porcelain wash baskets and true 2 piece dual action agitator. I have been using mine now for 3 months and it is just a plain good machine ...

If you want a cheap but decent top loader you could also look at the Amana NTW4516. I have had this washer now a few months and it has been performing admirably. Basically the same as the Maytag MVWP575 mentioned on this thread but has auto water level and full fill options and a compete range...

Those old Frigidaire ranges always looked substantial to my eyes. Were Frigidaire ranges better performance wise than GE back when Frigidaire was GM ?

I love the squirrels too but they can be very destructive if they get into your home. When I was younger we had squirrels get up into our attic and they were chewing the wood up. My parents had to call the ASPCA to have them removed. I still like to watch them run around play with each other...
