Repair guy was just here. Bad timer he says. He said he had a bunch come through...then nothing...then a few more here recently. Needs to order right timer.
Thanks everyone. I love the machine, I really do. Ran a few loads this weekend just fine..then the 3rd load did it...I pushed or pulled (can't remember) just SLIGHTLY not enough to stop the cycle on the cycle knob and that engaged the agitation.
I have a Speed Queen top loader (can't remember model but think I bought the tol top loader) that is less than 2 years old. Just yesterday I started laundry and went upstairs, came back down probably 30 minutes later and my machine is humming or buzzing and there is a burnt rubber smell. Upon...
I guess I disagree because it drains an xl load of water just fine. And the stand pipe is not higher than the washer. I dont think I have that black part but I will look into it!
Tonight I ran a mini load on hot with a bunch of vinegar. There were quite a bit of suds---more than I think there should be in the wash cycle even. Drained fine no overflow of suds. In the rinse I noticed particles of what? Undissolved bubbles perhaps? I do not know. Repeated this whole process...

I think ours is 15, kbOnes.
A whole house water softener IS in the plans but we just moved in here 1.5 weeks ago and haven't even closed on our previous and current home...I'm sure you understand how it is. So much to do!! Because yeah, I want more softened water than just dishwasher. :)
My...
I Heart MayTAG-----which KA did you buy? Saw one today in store, I did like it. I also liked the Whirlpool Gold, did not like the Maytags though.
No comments on Samsung? A friend told me her parents like theirs. I may wait for our local place to get the "new" Boschs in in May. I really would...
I will look @ Maytag, thanks. The machine i am using is jetclean and really cleans well.
The thing i am seeing that i dont like is these loooonnnnnggg cycles. When i washer shopped i was dismayed at how long some of the cycles could take...so pleased with my SQ. does it even take 30 mins? Dont...
Someone posted a website earlier in the thread which I looked at, and it rates this one very well. I saw someone else say in a different thread, maybe on gardenweb, that their sister has it and loves it...but reviews aren't great on Sears website...
