Thanks everyone. I love the machine, I really do. Ran a few loads this weekend just fine..then the 3rd load did it...I pushed or pulled (can't remember) just SLIGHTLY not enough to stop the cycle on the cycle knob and that engaged the agitation.

I guess I disagree because it drains an xl load of water just fine. And the stand pipe is not higher than the washer. I dont think I have that black part but I will look into it!

Tonight I ran a mini load on hot with a bunch of vinegar. There were quite a bit of suds---more than I think there should be in the wash cycle even. Drained fine no overflow of suds. In the rinse I noticed particles of what? Undissolved bubbles perhaps? I do not know. Repeated this whole process...

I went to the nearest Kmart and grabbed the small bottle of Purex. Formulated for both types of machines. Still have some suds from drain pipe.

By low sudsing do you mean HE?

Help me troubleshoot, please! I have had a Speed Queen top load for about 6 months. Never had an issue. All of a sudden this week when the water has drained out and it is then spinning the rest of the water out I am getting what looks like pure suds coming out the drain hose, into the drain...

I have only added water to mine a few times. You may find it is not necessary.

Speed Queen but I haven't had any other top loads. Had to use my Mom's BOL GE top load HE....couldn't believe the little amount of water used and that I couldn't adjust the water level!

Someone posted a website earlier in the thread which I looked at, and it rates this one very well. I saw someone else say in a different thread, maybe on gardenweb, that their sister has it and loves it...but reviews aren't great on Sears website...
