That's the first washer I have seen where the re-circ pump has a accessible filter as well as the drain pump. Great idea.
Also where do you get your technical drawings from chestermikeuk?
very true fido,
Speaks volumes that Dyson don't support these machines anymore.
Since last year no spare parts are available through them. Very poor on so many levels.
keep old hoses
The old braded hoses are better quality and last years and years. The only thing I would say is replace the old washers on both ends of the old hoses.
Ha Ha, Could not have said it better my self Optima, "A complete rip off but with a fancy Direct Injection name".
So the water gets circulated from the heater back through the sump, about 6 inches!, another gimmick to sell to the uneducated masses.
"Beko, a Turkish brand, are proving themselves to be incredibly high performing and reliable and going from strength to strength. I'd sooner own one of those than anything churned out by Indesit or Candy"
Ha ha AquaCycle, worth re posting this as such a laugh, high performance, lets not mention...
Don't get either.
Your current machine is a lot better than those two offerings!
Your WDT1061 beats them hands down, no competition!.
Get your local engineer to replace the on/off switch, common part, not a expensive repair, start making some calls tomorrow am!
These are very good machines and last a long time, a lot longer than Hotpoint's latest offerings.
Why not call out a local engineer who will be able to fix it and will have the expertise to give it the once over.
Hi Splitub,
Please could you provide a link to the electrolux website where they provide free exploaded diagrams.
My understanding is they have changed the site now and that facility is not available.
Many thanks
So you've got a dishwasher you describe as "I have a 'free' dishwasher" and "other than some scuffing on the main front panel, it looks new...!".
If it was me in your situation I would tell the seller the current situation with the machine and offer some money back.
That seems fair to me as...
interesting picture
Hi Launderess,
Never seen that cast iron miele motor, worked on loads of miele washers, is it from a very old machine with a induction motor?
http://www.xeroscleaning.com/
Looks like they even lent there proto-type machines to some commercial dry cleaners who gave them glowing reviews.
Looks like its a huge machine, can see this working for the commercial market, the website doesnt show the domestic machine in any detail if one even...
