keep old hoses The old braded hoses are better quality and last years and years. The only thing I would say is replace the old washers on both ends of the old hoses.

Don't get either. Your current machine is a lot better than those two offerings! Your WDT1061 beats them hands down, no competition!. Get your local engineer to replace the on/off switch, common part, not a expensive repair, start making some calls tomorrow am!

Its a quality machine, better than the latest offerings from Electrolux, just pay a engineer to fix it!

Thanks Launderess, Some usefull exploaded diagrams contained on at site, shame they had to remove them from the Electrolux site though.

These are very good machines and last a long time, a lot longer than Hotpoint's latest offerings. Why not call out a local engineer who will be able to fix it and will have the expertise to give it the once over.

Just checked site again and no exploaded diagrams are there now. what a shame. :(
