Hi Robert, I have a very similar model from Maytag, EpicZ. I bought in 2006 (11 y.o.) and no repairs. My EpicZ have the same mechanism than This commercial model on your picture. The difference are only on cycles. I highly recommend it.

I found a video with a Whirlpool version of this agitator. The guy used the Deep Wash function for little amount of clothes. The agitator is only one piece, no "dual action" movement.
