Hello I used to be a active member on this board years ago. I moving and have a few items that I need to sell and wanted them to go to someone interested in them.
First is my cracked ice table with leaf.
In good shape.
Next is my 1963 ge combo fridge. Its in perfect working order maintained by...
Its defiantly the timer. Rapid advance stoped working and now the timer never advances to the end gets stuck one click
Before the end of the cycle.when It broke
I had a thread on it. I found the 19 local for twenty bucks and just never got a timer.
s machine has always washed well. It was never in the best shape. Ive used it for a year and a half while i kept putting off getting the timer for the 18.
Im sorry your right its a 19 i also own a 18.i dont plan on fixing it i ran it with out the fan and it worked fine.my 18 needs a timer. I will buy a timer for that or a different. Unit. The 19 is gonna have to go.
Started the old girl with a full load
About a min in smoke starts rolling out of the cabinet. Ran and shut off the main breaker. Waited for the Smoke to clear and pulled the old girl out.looks like the fan motor was starting to burn up.
Disconnected motor and pushed Unit back into the cabinet.
Well I finally got a round to look at it.
Massive leak at compresser discharge line.gonna take it apart next week and replace the whole line. Picked up 30 pounds of r 12 from a friend. I should have it running in no time
I work on refrigeration for a living repairs won't be a issue. I like the fact that these have separate compresser for the freezer and refrigerator. My house is always cool I keep the a c on all summer.
Found a sub zero model 550 for sale local ly for 200 dollars. Anyone ever have a older sub zero. It's a 89 model.
Right now I'm using a 63 Ge combo in the kitchen but the wife wants something
