We have an American Standard central unit. We keep it set at 77F. It was 100F yesterday with very high humidity. The unit ran a total of 10:13 min in that 24 hour time period with no constant run mode.

I agree. The Cascade Complete powder does an awesome job in older machines. Just make sure you have hot enough water entering in the first place. The hotter the better.
