Can you believe....... that I pulled all of this junk out of the vacuum tube of this convertible. I jammed full all the way to the fan. It's amazing that it didn't burn up. I had to use a wire coat hanger and my shop vac to pull all of this junk out. It was mostly white carpet fuzz, but it even...

    My new vacuum-(please don't laugh)

I love mine! I have several choices of vacuums. I do prefer the oreck for weekly cleaning. Occasionally I will drag out my Electrolux Golden J with powernozzle to really deep clean, but I do feel the Oreck does a good job. I don't really know why people don't like them. For my hardwoods and...

Really Dirty! I am working this weekend to try and get this machine clean. You wouldn't believe the hair, string, yarn that was wound around the brush and the impeller fan spindle. I will post pictures. BTW I am still looking for bags. Does anyone know if a Eureka F/G bags will fit this Hoover...

    Sanitaire Blue Line

I have recently used a Sanitaire/Eureka Blue Line upright. It's the classic Eureka style vac with a headlight. There are no frills, bells, or whistles on it, but boy does it clean. It has 840 watts. It has to be one of the best cleaning modern machines out there. I am so glad the Eureka did not...

Runs great, BUT it sure isn't a quiet machine. I didn't realize how noisy these plastic models were. Does anyone else think this, or is it just this machine. Tim

Bag Searching I went out searching for bags tonight. I couldn't find any Hoover style C, but I found plenty of Eureka F&G bags. Will they work? If not, I guess I'll have to head downtown to the vac shop. The vac is really in good shape. It is not nearly as quiet as I remember Convertibles...

Thanks, Marty for looking for them. Just keep an eye out for them if you don't mind. I found out about a man who rebuilds old vacuums about 10 minutes from my house. I am going to check with him next week.

    PLEASE Help!

Yeah, Tom I have used the upholstery tool to vacuum my tile, but since I don't have the other curved wand it makes it kind awkward to use. I have checked all of the stores around here for one. Maybe one day soon I'll have one. Tim
