    Rare!

Saw this on Portsmouth, NH Facebook Marketplace. A KDS-16 with the stainless steel tub! For a very reasonable price of $50! https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1530000464099195?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Acf9f0c5d-b455-482e-b02f-85fbabe5363c

KitchenAid KDC-15 dishwasher (1965?) --for local pickup or the price of shipping

Model date This model series was made from 10/64 to 4/68. As Tom said, this is a later style with the charcoal control panel, so I'd hazard a guess of 1967ish.

Overflow rinse. I believe the deep rinse cycle has a non stop fill in order for the lint and suds to flow over the top. The timer runs at a quicker speed for the small load feature.

    Wanted: early '70s Hotpoint dishwasher!

Saw this today They want to sell as a set but maybe it's worth looking into. In Oshkosh, WI. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/581938899960667/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A87335e4e-63ed-4510-859c-1a7e9a89c6a5

    Check out this dishwasher.

It's the correct rack But it's in backwards. This is a "load as you like" design with the center spray arm. The Silverware basket goes in front and the "front to back" tines should be on the left.

We do Our 1962 home was part of the Live Better Electrically program. Considering we are about 12 miles from the main plant of General Electric, using lots of electricity was our civic duty! The Medallion program had 2 levels - Gold, for all electric living (mostly in the South and West) and...

Need some insight on freezer issue

Manual Damper The freezer cold control is not a control per se, but rather a damper that adjusts the flow of cold air from the freezer to the fridge (I believe). So if you adjust it, you should be able to bump up the freezer temp. I'm sure there are others here that can give more details.

    Wow

Mystery solved On a FB group, someone issued a request for a GE dryer knob. "Hi ! I work for the TV show The Marvelous Mrs.Maisel and we just bought a dryer with a missing knob. Does anyone know what the knob might look like or if a good source to purchase it? Thanks so much!" Look at...

"Dream Machine" dishwasher found and eventually rescued

Not necessarily a gravity drain I have the manual for my ‘61 Princess and it shows the option of a separate wall drain. Perhaps some areas had local codes requiring a separate trap for the dishwasher. I think GE promoted full line kitchens.
