    V-Zug washer arrived

Difficult choice.... I wouldn't want to let go of either :) please let me know your impressions - textile programmes, fuzzy logic etc.? Choice also rated the Adora quite low for washing ability, but they tested the 1:32 cotton programme (with default light soiling) to wash a load of heavily...

    V-Zug washer arrived

I have both the Adora SLQ and the Miele Steam Care. My impressions: VZUG: pluses: more flexibility (thanks to separate easy care button etc), VAS gives perfect spin results (no dumbed down spin as a result of load imbalance), better rinses minuses: build quality inferior to Miele (flimsy...

The Laundress NY - DISH DETERGENT 2 in 1

I have used it and haven't been able to get it to work...It creates too many suds, at least in my Miele G1832

    new VZug site

How do you feel about the Adora fuzzy logic? It really does increase those cotton wash water levels when it's sensing a load of towels....

    Recommend a modern/new washer & dryer please.

Choice and VZug The VZug Adora SLQ is featured in the latest Choice Washing machine report. Only 59% for dirt removal!! But they used the short programme (around 75 minutes) designed for light soiling...

    Recommend a modern/new washer & dryer please.

Swiss machines Hi Deedub have you the results of the latest Choice dishwasher tests? Apparently, the VZug Adora SL dishwasher is much louder (and not as energy-efficient) as claimed by the manufacturer. Are those Choice tests at all reliable???

    Miele Excella II

Hi Mielerod69 according to my (Italian) instructions manual for the G1832, the Sensor Wash programme has a temperature range of 40-65°.

    Miele Excella II

Hi I have a G 1832 (Euro version of La Perla II). I do get a temperature on the control panel with most programmes (e.g. 'Forte 65°' aka 'Heavy Soil' etc). You probably don't need such 'intensive' programmes for the types of load you showed in the picture, mrb. The Sensor wash, the Energysave...

    Help me achieve softer towels

Launderess, Le Blanc also produces a dedicated detergent for towels: Towel wash http://linenwash.net/products/towelwash/

Please help me achieve whiter whites

The new Mieles with the Stains option carry out an automatic 'intensive soak' when you select some of the stain types (e.g. oil/fat etc.). It's more intensive than the traditional soak as tumbling takes place every minute or so. The duration of this phase depends on the type(s) of stains...

Miele programme packages have arrived in the UK

The new Miele Eco option works in the similar way to VZug Adora 'Night-saving' option. What happens is that the wash time is lengthened (between 25-50 minutes longer) and the wash temperature is lowered. Energy savings are between 10 and 30%, water savings 10-20%. For example, if you select...

    Reason Washing Machine

From Wikipedia: 'According to Customs & Excise Reason Innovate Ltd was wound up on 27.1.2010 leaving a long line of angry Suppliers of new clothes to the Emperor'

    VZug Adora SQL: 'Night' option

Thanks for your replies. The 'Night' options lengthens the programme (it doesn't affect the spins -- barely audible anyway) and decreases the temperature. I was wondering if anyone had any idea by how many degrees the wash temperature decreased

    VZug Adora SQL: 'Night' option

What happens when you select the 'Night' option on the Adora SQL (similar to 'Eco' option on the new 'Ecogenius' Bosch washers), apart from increase in the length of the wash programme? By how much does the temperature decrease (e.g 60 > 40)? thanks

V-Zug front loader in Melbourne, Australia

One Adora SLQ's found its way to Italy too :) By the way, a newer 2010 Adora SLQ is now available -- they've added a 20C wash button and tweaked with water/energy consumption

    SCHULTHESS, another reliable swiss brand

What do you think about the turbidity sensor for the wash programme? Do you think it might really work?
