    GE Versatronic Range Available

A gentleman contacted me to see if I was interested in his parents GE Versatronic Range. I have no use for it (why can't people contact me about a versatronic washer!?). His note is below. If you are interested, email me and I'll forward his email address to you. I am helping some family...

No, really Well Bethann and Micky, I understand what the cake thing means. And Mickey, I remember exactly the incident you are referring to. That was Robert who offered the cake and difussed that situation. But I don't think it came from nowhere. I'm thinking I used to watch some sitcom when I...

    Such is life

A nagging question This has been bothering me for a long time. Where does the phrase "Now who wants some cake?" come from. I can hear it in my head plain as day. I'm seeing a 50's mom in a black and white sitcom. Leave It To Beaver? Can someone help me out here?

Why? It's amazing how many threads here turn into a screed against Christianity, for no apparent reason. Robert has lectured against that before. That really wasn't necessary. Mixfinder, there are some people on this site who have a reputation for being very blunt and opinionated. There are...

    Hoover Twinnie Available

It seems that there are a number of people here that are fond of these portable Hoover washing machines. A guy at work said his neighbor had it in a yard sale last week end. Nobody bought it and he's still interested in selling it. Let me know if you have any interest. Supposedly it still works...

Toggleswitchs are the source of a lot of pain and heartache. Toggle probably didn't mean it that way. Actually, he probably was being a smart ass. Toggleswitchs are the source of a lot of pain and heartache. I read that somewhere. It's probably in the Bible. I'm glad you listed the state...

    That Damn Toggleswitch!

Toggleswitches are the source of a lot of pain and heartache The lady who shipped it to me filed a claim with FedEx although I really don't believe it to be FedEx's fault THIS TIME. We'll see what happens. Now she admits to having shipped a "few" items that have broken in transit. Frigilux...

Todays flea find: a blue convertible

Hey Pete Pete, I guess I never mounted the dispenser because it works fine just sitting on the counter. I'm not sure where I would mount it if I decided to. I'd have to drill holes in something.

Todays flea find: a blue convertible

Some other finds I got the Royal Haeger vase and the shark fin ashtray from a lady for 20 bucks. Not two minutes later, I got a matching Haeger ashtry, same mottled white finish, for 2 bucks from a lady a couple of booths away. The turquoise on the inside of the vase doesn't hurt either.

Todays flea find: a blue convertible

Here's my flea market find of the day It's a Moss Company plexiglass lamp from the fifties. The guy that sold it to me said it's been in a box for the last 25 or 30 years. It's in pristine condition. There's a florescent light bulb in the middle and a three way switch for the bulb on the top...

    That Damn Toggleswitch!

Pete Look closely at the second picture. It is very close to a turquoise color, far from a jadeite color. Yeah, the first picture seems to give off a more greenish tint than the unit has in real life, but the second picture shows the actual color.

    That Damn Toggleswitch!

That same question goes out to Mr. Gansky I have the same urge to leave negative feedback for these morons, but doesn't that just lead to the seller giving you automatic retalitory negative feedback and washing their hands of you? The feedback system on eBay is a joke and always was. No seller...
