Citric Acid I like to use citric acid. You can either get food grade citric acid off amazon or lemishine from Walmart. I aslo have used white vinegar before. All give good results

Thinking twice I went and looked at the machine looks like water has been in the machine for quite a while. Also the tub looks as though there are rust streaks going down the inside. I have a feeling I will have a lot more work ahead of me.

Even the unrepairable stuff goes for a high price at the Lowes here. The other day I saw a BOL builders grade dishwasher with a tech service slip saying unrepairable for $250

That is the only detergent I use and I love it. I switched to it after Persil discontinued their powered formula here in the states.

Losing its parts When I finished load I lifted up the lower wash arm and this fell out. No clue where it goes. Maybe it has something to do with the washer performance.
