Thanks Gyrafoam At least one person who is interested ;-) I regret not having some American products in this video. I once had Gain softener but gave it away because I promised it to someone else. Maybe I will upload a vid only about American detergents. I have enough pictures :-D

    Germ Warfare

Also depends on the tub.... If your machine has a plastic tub, bad smells will evolve faster. Stainless steel tubs are a big advantage in this case. Miele only uses stainless steel tubs over here.

    Germ Warfare

Well... I am not going to judge the American way of washing. I just will tell you about how it is here in GERMany :-) Actually, I can say that in the past I have NEVER heard about problems with germs in washing machines or that a washer smells bad. That just came up the last 2 or 3 years since...

    gay couples in soap operas

On August 17, 2007, Noah and Luke shared a groundbreaking kiss--the first gay male kiss in the history of American daytime dramas. R U kidding me ????? In Germany, the first kiss between men in daytime drama was in the "Lindenstraße" in 1987. I thought this was already late. But 2007 really...

    EVERYBODY should read this!

Chris, you are right. I just wanted to say: Prefer what you want, it will be okay. I love to watch the clothes being washed. Thats why I prefer frontloaders. But if someone prefers toploaders thats so okay. Sometimes, I really feel nostalgic and think about if the Constructa ist still working...

    EVERYBODY should read this!

I will not say anything for or against top- or frontloaders but only this: When I was born my mother bought a toploader from Constructa(part of Siemens/Bosch). It ran until I turned 18 years, then we sold it because of a bathroom makeover. It was still working at this time. My mother decided to...

    Washing Machine Test Results

I can't imagine that Samsung was rated "GOOD" This brand excludes this result. I never would buy one of those machines even if they would be ranked "Very good". Same with LG, Panasonic etc. Those manufacturers should focus on products which they know really well like TV's, cameras...

    "Rude" Wal Mart Employees

For all Wal-Mart haters out there... maybe you will smile but here in Germany, Wal-Mart had no chance. They had to give up and sell all their warehouses to another company. Their strategy to offer low prices so that other businesses would have to close did not work since the German grocery...

    Utility Rooms

I noticed that you UK guys often have your washing machines in the kitchen. Here in Germany, thats uncommon. In an appartment building, you usually have a laundry room in the basement. If there isn't one, then the washer is usually installed in the bathroom. People who own their own house...
