    Kitchenaid Portable Dishwasher

Hi turquoisedude! Please forgive me, but I'm a little confused. I worked as a shipper/receiver for several years here in Toronto. I shipped out full-sized bank machines and spare parts for them all over the world. Let me say that palleting and shrink wrapping a bank machine is not an easy task...

You guys have had me searching for this for a while now and.....

Questions, if I may? Although it's not going to be here until the weekend, could someone please possibly give me the cycle breakdowns of this machine? I would like to know how I will be using this for my regular use as it will become my daily driver. Also, if someone knows the manufacture date...

    I'm too young to DIE!

I hear that..... Those old wasteyards of appliances from yesteryear have seem to disappeared themselves what with today's "disposable" appliances. My story about the new dishwasher in my thread is similar after seeing the house that it's in, that it would be scrap to most people who cannot...

OMG......... I'm so freaking GIDDY about this thing. It's in an old house that is being completely gutted and renovated. Other than the newer fridge and stove, it was like stepping right back into the 50's. The first thing that caught my eye was a copper range hood that is obviously original...

I'm soooooo excited!!!!!!!! I'm heading off to see this unit in a couple of hours. Hoping to be able to run it for a bit while I'm there and make sure it functions as it should. I have a TON of questions for you guys about this machine, but I'll wait until I've seen it to know if it's...

    Dishwashers - various brands CL

I had that Kenmore portable too. It was an Inglis/Whirlpool machine and had the silverware basket in the door. That's why I bought it. Great design all the way. Mine was Almond coloured, had the three buttons with the rocker switch for the dry option and the high sided upper and lower racks...

    Another MT DD RR

Nothing beats a Maytag Reverse Rack-NOTHING! The capacity. The flexibility. The performance. The SOUND....... You knew there was a lot of washing action going on in there! And everything always came out spotless. LOVE those RR Maytags-especially the belt driven models and would love to finally...

Pretty much a done deal. Meeting the seller on Monday to try out the machine. If I like it, I'll pay for it and he's willing to hold it for me until I can arrange a pick up. If it's in the shape I'm hoping it is, then it sounds like it's mine. Thanks again to all you vintage appliance lovers...

Speed Queen SuperTwin - New Old Stock

Loads of fun yes, BUT...... so time consuming. In their day, we had more time for it. And didn't mind the effort. Not so much in today's "instantly connected" world. Ah, to slow down and enjoy it all over again........ But I truly do enjoy using my twin tubs.

And already.... the seller offered for me to come and look at it today before 4. But I can't do it today. Waiting for his reply to see it tomorrow and to see if he'll hold it for me after I pay for it so I can pick it up later in the week. If I take it that is..... I'm pretty excited 'bout...

since I was just browsing the site, I decided to check out my local Craigslist postings. Can you believe what literally popped up as the first ad and was only posted 36 minutes before I checked in? I can't seem to copy the link to it, but here's an image scan of it: Dishwashing machine - $25...

RCA Branded Westinghouse Washers and Dryers

One thing I clearly remember about the Canadian Whirlpool/Inglis version of the RCA washers, was the incredible colour of that blue agitator. It was unlike any other colour that has ever been used in an agitator and was simply stunning. As for the Westinghouse made RCA's, I saw a few of them in...

Speed Queen SuperTwin - New Old Stock

Hi Barco.... Unfortunately, I got very busy shortly after my last videos of the machines and didn't have much time for twintubbing for a while. A few months ago, I decided to pull the Simplicity out and give it a good run for the afternoon. I was filling the spin tub up to rinse out the dust...

Speed Queen SuperTwin - New Old Stock

Freakin' WOW....... I haven't been on this site in ages, but saw your post and had to check it out-and now reply. My strangest dreams of finding a vintage machine was always that I would find a NIB Simplicity/Speed Queen TT in some old barn or antique shop for next to nothing. For me, Harvest...
