GM Frigidaire 1-18 cool down

What are those GM-era Frigidaires' permanent press cool-down process like? They spun on low speed even with the speed switch on normal, correct?

After living in NW AZ for a few years, I appreciate an indoor Laundry area MUCH more than an outside one. Nothing like firing up the dryer and having long slithering things with rattles popping out of the housing. Or the nice black spiders with the pretty red hourglass that love to nest next to the access panels.

Lots of creepy crawly things I found inside my washers up there.

I do like the fact that nothing rusts there though.
